where happy hour meets sex education.

When it comes to your sexual and reproductive health, there is SO much to know and do. Like knowing how often you should get a pap smear and what to expect or whether you’re at risk for the human papillomavirus (HPV) or cervical cancer. It can feel overwhelming trying to stay in the loop for your sexual wellness, especially if you’re doing it alone. But no worries – we got you!

Learning about your incredible body and how to care for it doesn’t always have to happen from a page in a brochure, a tab on your browser or behind closed doors 🙅🏽‍♀️ – it can happen over cocktails, conversations and celebration!

Join us at Atrium 82 in Brooklyn, NY at 7pm on Friday, June 23 for Paps on Tap!

We’ve designed a fun and interactive way for you and your homegirls to:

✨Learn and (un)learn about pap smears, HPV and cervical cancer in the Black community from OB/GYNs, Dr. Tiffany Rose and Dr. Shanaye Jeffers.

✨ Mix and mingle over good vibes, mocktails, cocktails and light refreshments

✨ Build community with other Black women on their sexual wellness journey

✨Take home a curated pleasure and wellness goodie bag (valued at over $100!) featuring products from Dame, TheHoneyPotCo and so much more

Register and purchase your ticket. We can't wait to see you there! 🤗

Breathwork for Black Futures

By now, you know we ALWAYS got your back when it comes to Black centered sexual wellness and healing.  Last year was especially hard for many of us considering the new challenges and threats to our reproductive autonomy.  That’s why this month, we’re excited to partner with holistic wellness practitioner and breathwork facilitator Jasmine Bowie of Zola Indlu Wellness for a community wellness session! Jasmine’s intentional practices are rooted in curating integrative wellness opportunities for  Black girls, women, and femmes to pause, center their breath, and connect with themselves and their community more intimately.

Incredible Bodies: Reproductive Health 101

Oftentimes, we go to our doctor’s office to learn how our incredible bodies work and make decisions about them. At the same time, we often come to our doctor unprepared to have a real conversation about our sexual wellness or are unsure of what questions to ask.

In collaboration with Dame Products, this 90-minute workshop, we will cover reproductive anatomy, menstruation, common reproductive disorders, contraceptive methods, self-care techniques, and more. We’ll delve into personal reproductive choices and the cultural, social, religious, economic, and political factors that shape them. After this workshop, you’re sure to leave feeling empowered with resources and actionable steps to take on your next GYN visit with confidence!

Curls and Condoms: What's Your Sexual Wellness Regimen?

As two sexual wellness practitioners who learned about the beauty of our curls from the internet and found celebration and community in the natural hair movement, we thought, “what would the sexual wellness version of the natural hair movement look like”? 🤔

Curls and Condoms: What’s Your Sexual Wellness Regimen? is a 2.5-hour interactive workshop that creates space for Black women and femmes to bridge and expand the conversations around their hair to include honest, open, and educational dialogue about sexual wellness.
